Our Mission
In India, 550 million people need eye care they cannot access. 80% of vision impairment is preventable, yet millions suffer needlessly due to lack of early screening, awareness, and affordable care.
EyeSetu is changing this. We use AI, teleconsultation, and a nationwide optometrist network to catch eye problems early, route patients to the right care, and build lifelong health tracking — making preventive eye care as accessible as checking your phone.
The Story
EyeSetu was founded in 2024 after our founding team witnessed preventable blindness affecting family members with diabetes. Despite India's growing healthcare infrastructure, routine eye screenings remained inaccessible to most Indians — especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
We realized that technology could be the bridge. By combining AI-powered risk assessment with India's 50,000+ optometrists, we could create a preventive eye care system that works at scale.
Today, EyeSetu serves consumers, optometrists, and enterprises — building the most comprehensive eye health data platform in South Asia.
